Lighter

The lighter has 4 moving parts, all animated and linked together using Max Standard materials and my own textures.

I placed a sphere gizmo cut it in half and added a fire effect inside it and timed it moving out the funnel of the lighter to animate it.


I then centred a Omnilight in the flame linking the two using far attenuation to keep the light small and using a Volume Light in the atmospheres and effects panel to add some thickness to the light and added a Volume Light effect to make the lighter glow more in a halo/shine effect which makes the scene where the character lights a cigar look better as it means his hand is now glowing organge as he lights it.
I made the light a light yellow colour to keep it subtle.

The fire effect it was centred in was a little stronger in colour, making it stand out more, without being drowned out by the shine/glow.
